. We rarely travel overseas because my husband is a teacher and so we are limited to school holidays. Prices inevitably rise then and all the special deals usually seem to be aimed at families. Do you have any good suggestions for reasonably priced school holiday trips for the childless?

A. The South Pacific is a fantastic place to visit at any time. There are many different islands and properties that are adult only, or you can stay at a larger resort which has adult areas for exclusive dining.

Vanuatu offers a couple of smaller properties that are either adult only or have adult only areas and would be a great choice.

We’d recommend Mangoes Resort as a peaceful escape designed exclusively for adults. Only a 10-minute stroll from town, you can relax and enjoy your Vanuatu experience. The stand-alone bungalows are spacious and have private balconies
